So I have yet to update my deployment bucket list ! So I am pretty proud because I have completed more than I thought I would. I really have struggled with keeping goals, and I really think blogging about them has changed that for good.
There is something about writing a goal down that makes it real. A true commitment. And: Personally my readers, the blogging community, the support- make completing goals just THAT much easier. I love how many people I have connected with, and hopefully helped support just as much!
This weeks wishes
- I am starting my 24 day challenge after Thanksgiving, ( I am going to blog about that later today)
- Get my cars fixed. Yes mine and the hubs both have things broken. I love friends who are driving me around right now.
- Start a book! I used to love to read a book or two a week, my whole life. I kept this up until earlier this year when we got cable for the first time in 6 years. Eeek. I am headed to the library when I finish this!
In honor of my 24 day challenge to rework my nutrition I am reminding myself how far I have come on this journey:
Oh and I did go over and update the list. I realized there is a lot of stuff on there I have literally NO desire to do anymore. I thought this would happen, but I will leave them on there. Maybe the motivation will come back.
I’m an avid reader too but haven’t had much time lately. There really should be more hours in the day!
Yes there does!
That is such great progress!
Those are some great goals. I hope you find a great book to keep you company. good luck with this week’s goals!
WOW! These photos of you are so inspiring! You go girl! I’ll definitely be coming back to check out your 24 day challenge! Have a wonderful week!!!
Thank you! I sent you an email 😉
I just finished reading the latest Bridget Jones, Mad About the Boy and it was pretty good.
It’s OK to take things off of our Bucket Lists, we change and grow over time and I think our goals/wishes do too. Imagine if we were held accountable to our wishes that we had when we were 10 … I’m pretty sure the lead singer of Duran Duran isn’t going to be my future husband and I’m OK with that. 😉
Bahahaha i just died a little that is hilarious! And great point.
I always try to read everyday too, what did you get from the library this time?
Haha well.. The book I wanted was not there so I got a
Preparing for pregnancy book. Figured I could read up and get prepared for next year.. 😉
