Never fails after dinner I want something sweet. It hits me like a wave knocking my healthy intentions to the wayside, sucking me into searching the pantry.
Those cute play by play recipes on Pinterest make mug desserts look like a fabulous invention. Yah…no. It was 3 cake cups later ( lazy girl = me = diet cherry 7up + funfetti cake mix). It had to stop. And it did. 2 months ago. I’ve tried chobani, juice, water, going for a walk, and I still want something sweet after dinner. Enters mini chocolate bars and Easter candy. It was going perfectly until my sweet man of the house….ATE THEM ALL. I would have 1-2 pieces and love life. Now he is far more athletic than I ( right now..) so I never really say anything about his consumption … He burns it off and more- but MAN you ate my CHOCOLATE leaving me for dead. So I didn’t feel like banana bread – no gluten less flour here. So I made banana ice cream. Which means pudding slightly chilled because the black hole that is after dinner sugar cravings…waits for no freezer.
I just realized I have no clue where the pictures are for my no sugar added dessert that made me fix so many cravings in one swoop with 2-4 servings of fruit.
Step 1- blend bananas I used two and it made one of those
tiny small ziplock circle containers full.

Freeze to desired consistency. Eat. Take that cravings!
I also just totally made one for breakfast more protein smoothie style.
One banana blended smooth, half a scoop of our fav chocolate protein powder, 2 tsp extra chunky peanut butter. Blend. Freeze a little. Smoothie breakfast that feels like. Dessert 🙂
One day I will take pictures in a organized fashion and have pictures for things but really on this one your not missing out .. It looked like shiny bubbly brown goo…not very photogenic.
So I am really missing my big polish Easter traditions with family today. The Prince Charming is working and the gym is closed I guess tv it is 😛
Speaking of gym, I’ve made it to work out every other day and did solid 2-4 miles . Slow walking my feet still hurt like crazy . Yesterday we drove out to civilization a MALL 😀 and my cute flats not only destroyed my feet left them bleeding but I couldn’t go for a walk when we got home because my feet were hurting so much foot wise. Sad. So I watched the 10 commandments on tv and rested. Going to ride the bike around today I think too 🙂
