Thank you!

I am doing my best to keep up with all the emails I have gotten about my boot camp results post, but thank you all for your support! As hard as it was for me to post my before picture, the support on my Facebook and twitter quickly made it all worth it. I REALLY loved hearing from so many people- It was absolutely amazing to see/hear so many people telling me they are starting their own plans now after seeing my transformation! It truly was thanks to the ladies in boot camp, and my blogging friends that I stuck with it – So I really understand support and will be here for anyone that asks!

Thank you !

So what is next?

Well if you hope over to my instagram – I have a pretty hefty ankle brace on my foot that has been bothering me so badly now. It is super confusing to put on, but I can already tell my ankle is more stable and feel less shooting nerve pain. Crossing my fingers that I do not need to wear a walking boot if this doesn’t help it enough. This is really derailing my Tinkerbell training as I have struggled getting higher level of cardio, and I really hate the elliptical. Well I am not even allowed elliptical until my next checklist in 2 weeks, so I am getting SO nervous about this training. I will keep biking away I guess.

So like my last 6 weeks I focused on just attending every boot camp class ( only missed on one to take my parents to the airport! ) and trying my best to participate/ push myself. With my ability to train hindered I started talking to people to see how and what they were doing. Some are doing insanity ( you go girls! ). With a no on strenuous stuff for my injury- I have researched some weight lifting routines from bodybuilding.com to figure out things I can do to keep my strength.

I next turned to diet. I have met with doctors and nutritionists and things just are not going well. My metabolism sucks. It has a lot to do with my autoimmune thyroid problem, but it also has to eat with just my body needing a good restart. I have been doing some searching and decided to join up with another blogger on a challenge before the new year. I will try about ANYTHING to feel energized. I tried to get my doctor to change my thyroid medication because I sit on the low end of my tests- and some meds do not work with the body helping the way it should for energy and sleep. He has reasons- insurance says no. I understand! I just wish I was not so tired, I do not like to take coffee or soda to increase my energy levels because I know I will just crash later. I can’t wait to overhaul my body in the challenge.

Please share my transformation, and join me on my Facebook, and twitter! If you are on a fitness journey and want to join in the support let me know Open-mouthed smile

Good luck Ashley!! Wanting it is a GREAT first step….even with the challenges you have (like thyroid problems which I know all too much about because of my mom and sister) you’ll do amazing! 🙂

Ahh I hope this does the trick for your ankle! My Goofy training got majorly derailed for the past 2 weeks because I had company in town, and now I’m seriously dreading my back to back distance runs this weekend! I made awful diet choices since we ate out so much too. UGH. What’s with life getting in the way of our Disney fun times?!

Hope the ankle is on the mend and they can get your meds right with the Thyroid!

Thanks! Ankle feels much better with just the few days in the brace. Thyroid.. well I have given up on that for a while. Haha.
