Have you tried Tabada?
Apparently it is super awesome for increasing the burn for extended amounts of time.
Class went a little like this –
Warm up- 4 laps jogging around the parking lots
Then 20 or 30 seconds of each, 10 second rests between. Going full intensity
Burpees
Push-ups
Mountain climbers
Plank
Then
Run two laps outside
Repeat this three times.
Then add 5 lb weights to the burpees, do push-up and then a row of the weight, mountain climbers, plank, and of course 2 more laps.
No that is not all, then 5 sets of 10 sit-ups and 10 Russian twists. Only resting between sets.
So my insomnia has caused for some rough wake ups for bootcamp! I decided to try some preworkout to hopefully get some motivation/energy bump. Most of the supplements reviewed what you should expect from their pre-workout supplement- you will get long-lasting energy, increased mental focus and the ability to push your self harder and farther. Some make some pretty high claims, but today I tried Badass!
I used half doses, I felt pretty awesome. No jitters, energized, and no crash.
I used half of the pre workout, before I left. The whey as it can pre, during, and after according to the package. Then the post on the way home. Loved the first two, the post drink tasted chalky. Yet, it is 5pm and I am just starting to feel tired. I cleaned the house again because Daisy decided to shed like crazy.
I still do not think I like vacuuming everyday but hey, this is my show me 30 days of healthy habits. I think having a clean house is pretty healthy too.
Did you have a good Monday?
I love Tabata!! I’m exhausted just reading about it…this workout was insane – good for you for even surviving!! 🙂
This boot camp is insane! Last week is a blur so I am trying to document the classes better so I can do the workouts once class is over. I do not think there has been one day I have not left completely sore. But hey, I could actually hold my planks today unlike last week!!
That’s actually a great idea!! Get the tools (routine!) so you can utilize them even after the face!!
Congrats on that girl – each week you get stronger! 🙂 🙂
I’ve done tabada but never in a class, I’m not sure if I’d like that or not. I love working out but prefer genteler types of workouts. Running and Pilates. However, a class really does motivate you.
Badass doesn’t sound too bad since you were able to eat it with no jitters and such. Perfect!
