Ah! I have no idea where my mind was today but it is the last of my 30 day reset and I am proud to say its going with a BANG of a ……
10 lb loss!!!
I can’t believe I was still in Vegas at the beginning of the month and the whirlwind of deployment etc. Ah!
Today was another sweat drenched workout on legs. Good news is I am no longer crippled all day after a bootcamp workout and FINALLY got a run in today ( tredmill). That means I am getting stronger right???
I was beating myself up for even looking at the brochures of products for two reasons. I want to lose weight and be like ” it was all my hard work” not thanking a shake/ drink. I also on the tightest budget ever and seriously the fact I looked is bad.
Now if you dont know I am newly introduced to the bodybuilding supplement world from Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas. Click for post about my horrible/great experience.
I started boot camp. Refocused on healthy living. It all sparked a ” I am going to kick butt and be awesome without your stupid products”
Thing is, I won’t take crazy pills. I do believe in protein shakes though, and have grown to love pre workouts. Not for running, just bootcamp and the gym.
Not all the time, just when I feel I can’t move from exhaustion.
I have up and down energy days that I cant seem to track from my thyroid and pcos. I feel bad for even admitting I like to use products that make me feel “normal” when people lose weight all naturally. Plus I have found some having the same conditions as me. I am just sick of randomly feeling like a truck hit me and took my energy.
I do not love coffee, and we do not buy soda. I think a caffiene pill would be a little much …
– so yeah I like drinking a lightly sweetened drink that boosts my energy and gets me through an entire day without crash or naps.
I do not need a magic weight loss shake, but man I love the magic of pre workout drinks. So the Plexus speech really got me with their daily energy boost drink! (I am so easy sold on EVERYTHING, I avoid home shopping networks ;-))
I have had a great month of refocusing on healthy habits. Water stretching nutrition ( although I didnt blog about my recipes like I had hoped- I totally have been collecting and have 10 new ones printed easy and used!) training plus blogging almost every single day!
I am going to take tomorrow to look at a November goal(s) to keep focused. I think blogging and the community of bloggers is what kept my month of building some essential healthy habits so consitent and such a SUCCESS!!! So thank you to all those who inspired me and all those who cheered me on. You are awesome.
