Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Mix together 2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal and water, set aside for 5 minutes.
  3. Cream butter, coconut oil, and brown sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mix well. It should be sort of puffy and sugar mostly dissolved in the butter.
  4. Stir flaxseed mixture and add with almond and vanilla extracts to the butter mix. Beat until blended.
  5. Sift together dry ingredients. Do not add oats or chocolate chips. If you do not have a sift like me- Just combine in a bowl and fluff with a fork a little. I sort of tossed them between two bowls with a fork hoping it would help. I need a sifter – i know.
  6. SLOWLY Add dry ingredients to butter mixture. Then once combined, add oats. Stir until combined, then stir in chocolate chips- or whatever add ins you like. I have used pecans, and coconut before.
  7. Scoop or drop onto baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 8-12 minutes, depending on size of cookies. I baked for 8 minutes then let sit on the sheet for a minute or two before moving to a cooling rack.
Recipe Notes

I can only vouch for myself, but this definitely increased my milk supply and it was a delicious treat that was easy to make. Don’t worry you can tell your family it is only for people who are lactating, or you can share! The Brewers yeast is full of energy B vitamins and can give anyone a little boost.
