Hello lovelies! I am starting to get back on track and feel like I have SO much to share with you, so I am sharing nothing! ha-ha, I kid! I just feel like I have so many things to tell you, with so little blog posts created. Today, I am sharing a new protein powder we have been using recently.
*This is the 2nd product I was given to try from NeoCell, you can read about the hair volumizer I am in love with here. I only share things I love and use, but am so excited NeoCell is going to let one lucky reader try this as well! Product given was only compensation for this post and giveaway*
4 in 1 – with Collagen Sport Protein powder
Since I have not been working out due to my ever going foot injury saga, my protein powders have been sitting on a shelf. I was excited to try Collagen Sport. It is made by NeoCell who seem to care more than the average supplement company to test and hold their products to the highest quality.
I am a huge shake fan, but I normally stick to the flavor of the chocolate variety. I decided to try vanilla so I could try adding fruits and using it for all the amazing protein powders I have found on Pinterest. It is pretty cool what you can make with a few ingredients, a great protein powder, and little imagination. I altered a recipe I saw and used Greek yogurt, frozen strawberries and blueberries, and Collagen Sport to make a pretty amazing dessert / protein filled breakfast.
The quick list:
- 15 grams Pure Ion-Exchange Whey Protein Isolate
- 15 grams Super Collagen Bioavailable Peptides
- Rich in BCAAs
- Multi-vitamins
- Doctor Formulated
What’s NOT in Collagen Sport
- Gluten, Wheat, Sugar & Lactose Free
- No Artificial Sweeteners or Flavors
- No Fillers or Synthetic Ingredients
How I used it:
I used this powder mainly with fruit and water, and about one scoop to 6 ounces of water was my favorite consistency. I found it got super fluffy/creamy when blended with other fruits.
I am big on trying new protein powders, and was happy with my Collagen Sport as a new option. I love how it is free from many allergens, as well as synthetic ingredients. It is a great option to recover from a hard workout with, or just supplement your daily protein needs with 30g of protein a serving. I love making recipes with this powder because it is gluten free!
I am so excited as NeoCell is offering a free sample for one of my lucky readers!
I’d like to try out the vanilla
Chocolate! Yum!
Hi, I pick vanilla – a bit more versatile. Frozen strawberries & coconut almond milk. I much older but like you blog. Look forward to reading more.
Thanks so much for including the nutritional information! I was just wondering, can you mix this protein powder with milk instead of water?
You could, it just would not be lactose free anymore.
Thank you for this detailed description of the Collagen Sport and for including its nutritional information. I find protein powders to be so versatile because they can easily be incorporated in any recipe and enhance its nutrition.
Can I give it to my 11 yr old son? He is allergic to milk. I need to supplement his diet as he is not growing too well
