Pregnancy, Cross country move, and more.

Hey everyone!

So knock on wood things finally seem to be slowing down to regular speed over here.

Most of my readers know when I took my new position in December, my social media presence simmered down to just instagram at most. Well turns out as rewarding, fufilling, and wonderful my job was. It was also extremely stressful,  physical, and a pregnant lady has her limits.

On top of this we will be moving cross country 3 weeks post Baby S birth.  ( ok I know Missouri is in the middle of the US but close enough)

I am so thankful we set up a plan to become debt free last year, and we did! We have savings, emergency funds, retirement funds, and even some investments. It is at least one stressor reduced that allowed me to leave my job with some peace.

It was still hard as I cared for all my residents, but the physical aspects became too much. I know I could have asked for accommodation, but we felt me taking time to take care of myself ( see ya 4am -5pm workdays) was needed so I put in a two month notice and trained my replacement. Leaving work has given me time to pack, sell, and donate items from our home to prepare for our move now.  We hope it is done before all the quick life changes happening within a matter of weeks, and all our visitors we will have in that short time pre move.

I thank everyone who has stayed in contact with my intermittent posts on twitter, Facebook, and instagram. I miss this space, and hope to return to a more regular scheduled program 😉

Best of luck with the move! Sounds like quitting the job was the right thing to do.
