Last Minute Father’s day gift ideas – The Frugal, the trendy, and the last minute desperate gift guide.

Short and Sweet List of trendy, frugal, and down right desperate for last minute Father's Day Gift Ideas!

So if you are like me- I am usually last-minute with everything. Amazon Prime 2 day shipping is my BFF since Target is 1 hour away. 2 hours total of driving alone in the desert, is not worth it for me. Amazon can happen while I am sitting comfy in my house, while my toddler doesn’t yell for more CARS.

1. The Craft.
Perhaps you take the Holidays like I prefer to – a moment to make a gift and childhood memento to keep forever. I am not crafty, and I have only made paint covered baby feet Valentines with my mom’s assistance, so This likely is last on my desperado list. Here are a few posts with SUPER cute Father’s day gifts for you to check out if you have some creative genes going for you.

2. Grill stuff.
My husband is the cliché father in that respect. He loves to grill, and grilling sauces, gadgets, etc.in- GEEK him out.
We recently fell in LOVE with Man Crates for his birthday, and mostly have a variety of budgets.

3. Essentials.
I remember we always gave my dad button-up shirts, ties, and underwear at like every holiday. I mean life of a professional? For my husband who wears a uniform every day I tend to buy socks, and workout gear. Two birds one stone right?

4. Technology.
We have a particular male who has gone through TWO expensive fitness watches over the past ten months, so you won’t see me gifting another one of those here … BUT The Newest and Greatest ( or even a couple models back to save money) are surely a safe bet for any man. Who doesn’t love new technology!

5. I.O.U’s
As I kid, I think I used to make those coupon books a few times a year and hope my parents lost them. I did NOT want them to cash in extra help at the farm, or around the house. I think it’s still cute for older kids to make and color pictures of the ideas on each page- sort of like here.

6. The gift card.
I used to be against gift cards 110%. Then I met my husband and his family. It is their thing, and they all love it. He loves it. I have given up and utilized it and now love that I can even buy it online.

7. The Photo Gift
This is my favorite. I LOVE to create photo gifts and have been for a decade almost now. I used to build scrapbooks with my grandma by hand, and now I create blankets, books, and mugs all online. While it isn’t always the fastest gift, some designs take time and love to put together; I love the lasting memento of a picture from whatever point in time- made even more special on a gift item. I think I gave gifts of my family trip to Italy, and my wedding – for every holiday for years. My parents seem to like it, and I certainly enjoy giving them.

8. Dad’s day out
My husband works so hard and does SO much for us. I like to think his gym time is his solo time, but I know he needs time for his hobby too. This easy idea is to play off hobbies and set it up with a friend of his beforehand. “Hey, you two go play golf, here is a GIFT CARD ;-),” and the plan.Thanks.
You could play this off for any of his interest or set him up on a dude date with his best friend, and send them on their way.

9. Car supplies
Perhaps this could just be my household, and a tad selfish of me. If we have the car cleaning and maintenance supplies on hand? My husband keeps our cars, vacuumed, cleaned, and waxed. Don’t forget the RainX that stuff is GOLD. Anyways, he takes pride in keeping our cars in tip-top shape so that it can be a fun gift if this speaks to your guy even a little.

10. BEER
HAHA. or Alcohol of choosing. Last fathers day we got my husband a very elaborate brewing kit where he made us an Excellent Ocktober fest brew, eventually. This was time-consuming gift= but there are so many cool bartending, drink making, mixology things out there you could pick up to add to the dad gift basket.

Most dads will enjoy that special breakfast, and the spent in honor of them with who he loves most: his family.

Wishing you and yours a Happy Fathers day, and if you have any great tips on gifts? I am still looking so leave me a comment and help a girl out!
