Bondi Band: Review and Giveaway.

Hey everyone! Hope you are having a great week so far. I am so excited to kick off June with a great giveaway and discount on a new to me headband.

Bondi Band Review- yoga

Getting my sweat on at home!

Although I am still in my darn walking cast and not running/walking any miles I am still trying to do what I can to get sweaty.  Honestly it is not hard for me it is getting so hot and humid here in Missouri!! 99% of my time is spent in a ponytail and whether I am working out or not I am probably sporting a headband. I was so excited to be given a chance to try Bondi Band from being an ambassador for FitApproach.

So I have a huge head. HUGE, really lots of hair aside my head has always measured too big for hats. Blaming my hair never helped me squish my head into a hat, or help those stretchy headbands stay on my head. I always wanted them to stay on though:I would use bobby pins, hairspray, really anything I could think would make these things stay put on my head! I gave up, I tossed them out, and well wouldn’t you know as I got back into running a few years ago there was a whole new market of non-slip headbands! I will be honest, I think I have tried 3 or 4 companies that claim to be in this non-slip family. They didn’t all hold up to their claim!

Enter the Bondi Band:

I have only seen Bondi Band at running expo’s at Disney, and then in a running group a girl was selling custom Bondi Bands for a fundraiser to raise for her Charity/Race. I found that to be such a great idea to get donations while giving a customized head band to remind the person what they supported.

Bondi Band - Will Run for Wine

I will be honest- when I first put my Bondi Band on I was not amused. It felt great, but I looked at myself, looked at pictures of other people in them and then laughed. I have never wore a sweat band, or wide headband so the look was initially shocking. That is until I got through a whole workout without it slipping, or moving. It is so thin its was breathable, and it did not give me a headache like some other bands have. I wore it when I babysat the next day, and I forgot it was even on my head. I have already ordered two more Bondi Bands one as a gift and one bling one Winking smile . Can’t wait for them to arrive!  What is cool is you can fold them, move them, and place them pretty much any way you want.

Bondi Band Giveaway

The description for my ” Will run for wine” Bondi Band:

Our sayings headbands are unisex, 100% American Made and perfect to be worn on their own or under hats, helmets  and visors.  Using stretchy, breathable material, allows them to fit virtually every head size and shape. Indoors and in warm weather outdoors, our moisture wicking headbands are great to wick away sweat and in colder weather they are also great to keep ears warm, along with keeping hair back.  Our sayings headbands are approximately four inches in width and can be worn wide or folded to the desired width.

Bondi Band Review

Bondi Band is awesome for SO many reasons, and I mean their slogan is “ No slip, no drip” and they mean it!

A little about Bondi Band:

  • They make all sorts of products for Men, Women, Kids, hair types, etc. Yay!
  • So many customizable options.- reversible, sayings, bling, different slogans.
  • They give back 10% of their sales to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
  • You can set up your own fundraisers with them.

I had a Bondi Band…at least I think it was one…that I used during my marathon training many moons ago and I loved it. My favorite way to get my sweat on is with a super long run. Or just a short run. Pretty much any run!

Looks awesome. I have so much hair too. I’ve never heard of theservice and have just been using the thin under armour ones that I constantly have to adjust!

My favorite way to sweat is to jog. I’d say run, but that would imply speed 😉
