2015 goals in review
Goals and creating a space for me was the whole purpose of this blog years ago. It’s changed names, hosts, and yet I keep paying those darn fees for a space I am not utilizing. Which is ok, 2015 was the most crazy busy, and wonderful year of my life!
Had our little miracle, travel, and then move to our new base in a new state. 2014 was our year we got our finances in order, 2015 was the year we grew our family, 2016 is my year of …!?
So for 2015:
Pay off the car! We DID pay off our car in one year! It was a lot of overtime on my part, but we did it! Anndddd we were literally debt free for ONE day before we got a used Jetta. It was a deal we couldn’t walk away from and I am so thankful to have worked so hard to pay off the other car first. Back to one income it would be horrible. Babies =$$$
Relax more– I definitely did not relax until my 2nd trimester. It is when I started saying no to things at work, as well as trying to slow down. Once I left my job I definitely had lots of me time and I utilized it by napping. Seriously, I miss those naps.
Document my infertility story. I wanted to be able to have a small reminder of there are good and bad moments and to keep looking forward. I did not document it much but rewriting notes and posts helped me cope as we went through it. You can check out the hardest post to write here. It was as far as I got documenting my feelings, as we got pregnant the next round of Clomid, and now our little one is HERE!
Friendship’s This is something I did not feel I did a good job at maintaining. Funny enough I forgot about making this goal and it is part of one of mine for 2016
Blogging: I still miss this blog! I miss connecting with all of my online friends and people who just get me!! I enjoy this creative space of the internet that is all mine, both in online journal and ability to share real life stories to hopefully help someone else searching for support online or just get it off my chest. I hope to get back into it! It looks like Instagram is my new blog for the past year though !!
I realized looking back on past blog posts, that not only is it a space that is mine to share and create, it is a space I love looking back on in memories. I have been on and off how much I even want to share about my little man on the internet, but I do know I will miss being able to look back on posts and seeing the changes. I mean it is why I loved so hard on my LiveJournal and myspace all those years 😉
