Hello! I’m the founder of Show me Ashley, and I am so pumped you are here!
Show me Ashley originated as a way for me to connect when my husband was on his first deployment. I started writing this blog like a diary, and it turned into so much more!
I look forward to building friendships and talking with you, so please message me!
Military life– I’m married to an incredible man – who just so happens to be in the Military. We are no longer newlyweds, have been through multiple deployments, and many TDY’s. It can be crazy, but the bright side is that awesome honeymoon feeling never goes away.
My tagline for the blog used to be “Live everyday like he deploys tomorrow” Because I believe in living a life full of happiness and being present in the moment. Lemons into Lemonade if you will, the military likes to keep us on our toes.
It was such a lesson for me, trying to find happiness when filled with anxiety/loneliness during deployment, but if I could find one GOOD thing? Every day became more of a happy day. I blogged to share my journey with other like-minded women; I wanted to stay accountable during my health goals, and to help others, due to how incredibly inspired I was, and still am, by other bloggers who do the same.
I am beyond passionate about helping others with money. I see young enlisted families making the same mistakes we did when we were in their position, and I just want to help them live a life outside of the debt cycle. I want to help you too if you are looking to be debt free, or even just saving more money for your dream vacation. Two Life Goals- To work for Mickey Mouse and help people as Dave Ramsey does.
I hope to share with you helpful tips learned the hard way, and provide stories that encourage you to: take charge of your happiness, try new healthy ideas, and save more money.
LET’S WORK TOGETHER!
I’ve worked with brands such as Pampers, Gerber, Godiva, Wal-Mart, Chevrolet, American Heart Association, Babies R Us, JCPenny’s, and many more. I love to work and partner with brands that offer benefit to moms, families, and the millennial woman. On this blog, I write from the heart and like to keep it candid.
